A few of my Favorite Things

Happy Thursday! Today I’ll be talking about some of my favorite things at the moment. My Morning Routine-2

Lately, things have been really busy. I just finished up with my finals on Tuesday (I’m not a sophomore anymore, YAY), and I have been extremely stressed. A few posts back I talked about some things that help me destress lately, so you should definitely check that out if you need a little help in that department. A few of those things are included in my post today, along with a few other favorite that I just have to tell you about. My favorites range from music to clothing to makeup. Grab a cup & read on!

Things I’ve been wearing

Real Soft Tee from Aerie, $19.95

Okay, I have two of these, and it’s officially my favorite t-shirt of all time (I’m going back to buy more, soon). These tees are super soft, don’t shrink when they’re washed, and fit a little loose which is flattering. Usually when I try on t-shirts, they are too fitting, which is something I don’t like, so the loose fit is a major plus in my book.

p.s. these are buy one, get one 50% off right now!

White leather Ked’s, $50

I have had my simple, white Ked’s for a long time, but recently I have been loving wearing them. They’re comfortable and go with everything. I wear them with jeans, shorts, leggings, dresses, nothing (just kidding, but really if I didn’t have any clothes on and I had to choose a pair of shoes, these would be them). Do yourself a favor and go buy a pair of Ked’s, and you’ll never have a shoe dilemma again. I will definitely be buying another pair soon, maybe with a subtle pattern to mix it up!

Beauty products I’ve been loving

it Cosmetics CC Cream, $38

YOU. NEED. THIS. It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to makeup products, and this product checks off on pretty much every requirement I have. It Cosmetics is a brand developed by dermatologists and plastic surgeons, so you know the ingredients in this stuff is good (it’s makeup, but also skincare, SPF 50+, AND paraben free). This CC cream applies beautifully to the skin, and is light to medium coverage, if you choose to build it up. When I’m having trouble with my skin, I will use this, and then typically go over my problem areas with a concealer. I use it every day, and it’s worth every penny.

Things I’ve been listening to

Spotify

I have been listening to Spotify for a few years, and I love it. I just recently upgraded to premium and it was such a great decision. I love having full access to tons of music, and being able to create playlists. I also really like the ‘browse’ feature so I can listen to playlists other people have created!

My favorite song at the moment is Peter Pan by Kelsea Ballerini.

p.s. Spotify Premium is only $4.99 a month for students!

Wellness Wonderland podcast

I am pretty new to Podcasts, but one of the classes I took for my major talked about podcasts, so I decided to look into them. I happened to stumble upon Wellness Wonderland with Katie Dalebout. Love her. Love her show. She has organic conversations with successful people. The show is super inspiring, and interesting to listen to. I often listen to this while I’m working out instead of music; my workouts seem to fly by!

Sam Tsui & Kirsten Collins Cover of Piece by Piece

I loved this song when I heard it done by Kelly Clarkson, then I loved it even more when I heard this cover on Kurt Hugo Schneider’s YouTube channel!

I hope you enjoyed reading about the things I’ve been enjoying lately. Stay inspired!

Always,
